Jock is a strategic communications consultant with a focus on financial communications, government relations and transaction‑related advisory, working across the resources, property, energy and agriculture sectors.

At SEC Newgate, Jock supports clients navigating complex, high‑stakes situations where commercial decisions intersect with political, regulatory and reputational risk. He works closely with senior practitioners to deliver clear, disciplined communications that support executive and board‑level decision‑making on fast‑moving and market‑sensitive matters, including work with clients on corporate positioning, regulatory engagement and issue management.

His recent work includes supporting Domain Group on the $3 billion CoStar transaction, as well as advising clients including Dyno Nobel, Godolphin and Red Bull. He has also contributed to communications and stakeholder strategies for clients across approvals processes, operational issues and investor communications.

Prior to joining SEC Newgate, Jock worked in boutique financial services and government, building a strong foundation in markets, infrastructure and public affairs, including supporting capital raising activities for early‑stage mining and exploration companies. He studied a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Sydney, majoring in Agricultural and Resource Economics.
